I will be the first to admit that I am terrible at meal planning. Our family typically eats the same few meals over and over. But what I lack in creativity for weeknight meals, I usually make up for when we have guests. As I have mentioned several times before we host our small group in our home once every six weeks or so, and I am always looking for something new to try out on them. This past week, I noticed cucumber recipes everywhere as the peak season is winding down and apparently it was a good year for them. In keeping with the dips and spreads theme of our last gathering (Check out the Facebook live for the whole spread), I modified a Cucumber Cream Cheese Dip. It is super simple and the addition of the Worcestershire sauce gives it a little added kick!
While we served this Cucumber Cream Cheese Dip with crackers and toasted bread, it would also be great on a bagel or even as a spread for cucumber tea sandwiches.
What is your favorite way to serve cucumbers? I would love to try your favorite.
By the way, you can always share your creations with me on Instagram and I would love to for you to join our Facebook Group to share with our friends who also love making great food for good friends. Until then…
